Name:Regulus A. Black
To the Dark Lord
I know I will be dead long before you read this
but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret.
I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can.
I face death in the hope that when you meet your match
you will be mortal once more.
R.A.B.

'My darling Narcissa,
in parting from you, I have left heaven for hell. I go because I can love you
only in honour. You've created in me the need to be a better man. I will love
through heaven -- or hell, if that is where I must go -- to love you as you should be loved.

Remember that, and give yourself no blame.

Yours forever,
Regulus.'

Regulus Arcturus Black

Canon Template.
Regulus is consistent for the most part with his canon portrayal in the Harry Potter series. He joined the Death Eaters at age 16 and survived not quite to his nineteenth birthday. He discovered the secret of the locket horcrux, and his attempt to destroy it resulted in his death, drowning at the hands of the Inferi while drastically weakened by the protective potion. He was a Slytherin in Hogwarts, a capable Seeker, the youngest member of the Black family and the infamous R.A.B.
Fanon Template.
The importance of expounding details on Regulus' life is significant. He has many traits and memories that function to fill in certain gaps, as well as make the ambiguous ones more interesting. Regulus has spent a great deal of his life traveling for educational purposes. He spent a winter in Budapest with the Árnyék Király (who "who mightily respect Voldemort's power and understanding, but also think that he's a rabid madman who should be put down for the good of wizards everywhere") learning the "proper" Dark Arts, and a summer in the Amazon researching potions and herbology (and doing a bit of treasure hunting). He was born with an affinity for Occlumency, and with practice developed Legilimency as well, both to a very high degree; however, he dislikes using the latter, having a strong distaste for touching anyone else's mind. He is an extremely proficient duelist, but also a self-proclaimed pacifist. Additionally, he is currently deceased and residing in a pleasant flat in Purgatory not far from the public library. Regulus is reluctant to make mention of the fact that he is deceased, particularly in the presence of family members or other versions of himself; he also refuses to discuss his death to any degree.

Regulus Arcturus Black belongs to JK Rowling. Trent Ford belongs to himself. The letter from Regulus to Narcissa belongs to The Man in the Iron Mask. No money is being made.
The Important Parts.
Regulus got along considerably well with his family members, even Sirius when the Gryffindor's lunacy wasn't getting the best of him. He was always closest with Narcissa (A/N: his Narcissa is approx. his age) and when they were young teenagers they entered into an intimately romantic relationship. This was kept a carefully guarded secret from everyone else for their whole lives and then some. Each was deeply in love with the other, and for their whole lives they had been each other's better half; however, eventually Regulus had to watch his beloved marry Lucius Malfoy, a man he still thoroughly despises; Narcissa, for her part, had to suffer the news (and partially the premeditation) of Regulus's death. Nine months after their last night together, she was distracted by the birth of her son Draco. This timeline is no coincidence.
Miscellaneous.
His birthday is November 2nd; this is All Souls Day, and also the birthday of Marie Antoinette. Regulus is a Scorpio.
Narcissa's wardrobe was primarily expanded and renewed via Regulus's personal funds, and he brought her back lavish and expensive gifts from every place he visited; for his sixteenth birthday, she managed to secure partial propriety of a merchant sailing vessel, not least for playing pretend at pirates; and a Nepalese seto-khandro, more commonly known as a gryffling, which he named Artemis and adored.
Likes: gryffins, cinnamon (to a slightly undignified degree), ghost stories, (and, incidentally) irony, family matters, books, attractive words, sporadic adventuring, Severus, Sirius (on occasion), Remus Lupin (also on occasion), Draco, and (fondly dearly disinterestedly devotedly) Narcissa.
Dislikes: Lucius Malfoy, Death Eaters/Voldemort, excessive comfort, false flattery, direct physical confrontation, violence and bloodshed, Inferi.
